How it works

Step 1 visit https://cotex.dpr.gov.ng and you are here already
Step 2 Click Login if you already have a DPR account from OGISP, ROMS or DEPOT or Click Register to create a new account for companies who have never registered on any DPR account
Step 3 For New Registrations: After successfully completing the registration process, the portal will send a verification email to the email address used in creating the company’s account.
You are required to click the link in the verification email to complete the registration process.
Step 4 After completing the verification process and on successful login, the system will request you to fill and update your company’s details.
Step 5 The next page takes you to your company’s Dashboard from which you can navigate to all the parts of the portal.
Step 6 To apply for a new export permit:
  • Click on applications;
  • Select new from the application type;
  • Input the required data.
To Renew an application:
  • Click on applications;
  • Select Renewal from the application type;
  • Input the required data.
To apply for a supplementary export permit:
  • Click on applications;
  • Select supplementary from the application type:
  • Input the required data.
Step 7 Upload the required documents for your application type.
Step 8 On submission of the required documents, a confirmation page is displayed summarizing the details of your application.
Step 9 To check the status of your application:
  • Click on applications;
  • Select my applications.
When your application is approved, or when more information on your application is required, the system would send an email communication to the registered email address accordingly.

NOTE: A FEE OF US$1000 IS REQUIRED TO BE PAID IN FULL FOR EACH APPLICATION UPLOADED. LATE SUBMISSION WOULD ATTRACT A FINE OF US$1,000 PER APPLICATION IN ADDITION TO THE NORMAL APPLICATION FEE.
